We recognize that many of you anticipated qualifying for the June 1, 2002 UAGTCA championship meet by participating in the events scheduled for Meet #3. Our unfortunate postponement, because of the weather, has been considered as we make plans for those events at our championship Meet on June 1, 2002.

The following policy shall be in effect for the championship 100 Meter Dash, 400 Meter Dash, 1500 Meter Run, Long Jump and High Jump events because of the cancelled meet:

Any athlete who participated in Meet #1, Meet #2 or who participates in Meet #4 will be allowed to compete in the championship meet in any of the events that were originally scheduled for Meet #3. Qualifying for all remaining championship events will remain the same.

All teams are asked to submit a list of athletes who fall into this category and intend to participate in any of the affected events at the championship meet. All USATF event limitations will be in effect and strictly enforced. Sub-Bantam, Bantam and Midget athletes will be allowed to participate in a maximum of (3) three events, including relays and field events; while Youth, Intermediate and Open athletes will be permitted to participate in a maximum of (4) four events.

REMEMBER: YOU MUST HAVE COMPETED IN, AT LEAST, ONE OF THE OTHER THREE DEVELOPMENT MEETS IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP MEET.
