The Madeline Regina Willette Memorial Track & Field Scholarship was established in 2010 by the United Age Group Track Coaches Association (UAGTCA) in memory of Madeline Regina Willette who was a Charter member of the organization. She was also the long-time head track & field coach of the Philadelphia Express Youth Association as well as a teacher in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Catholic School System. Madeline passed away in March, 2009.

The Madeline Regina Willette Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to one Male and one Female High School senior or matriculating college student who has demonstrated high academic achievement and has been accepted or is attending an accredited institution of higher learning as a full time student.

The applicant must have participated for a minimum of five (collective) years in any of the United Age Group Track Coaches Association sponsored programs or the Philadelphia Express Youth Association Cross Country series.

Each male and female recipient selected will receive the $500.00 non-renewable award.

The award is presented annually at the United Age Group Track Coaches Association Youth Invitational Track Meet. The 2013 presentation will be made on July 21 at Widener University during the UAGTCA Invitational Youth Track Meet Opening ceremonies. You do not have to be entered in the meet in order to be selected for the award but we do request that you be present at the UAGI for the presentation of the award if you are selected.

Recipients will be personally notified and their names will be posted on the UAGTCA main website www.uagtca.org no later than July 10, 2013.
