Track Meet Reminders

 

Parents it is very important that the athletes adhere to the following diet/rules of behavior.  These rules are put into place to protect the athletes-please adhere.

 

 Bring your own food: During the meets, until your child has run all of his/her events they are limited to the following:

            Gatorade          Water

            Fruit                 Salad (no creamy dressings)

            Bagels              Pretzels

            No Dairy         No Sugar (water ice, ice cream, candy,etc.)

 

*Do not load your children down with a big breakfast.  Nothing is worse than seeing a child throw up after a race because he/she ate too much or ate the wrong things.

 

Behavior:  Athletes must stay in the stands at all times, unless warming up with one of the coaches.  There is no roaming/playing around at meet.  This wastes energy needed for races.  Parents- meets should be treated like practices, we as parents are there to watch only.  The coaches/administrative team are in charge during the meets.  We need everyone to be on the same page in order for the Delco Stallions to shine.
